What I Learned Today
Science- We talked about soil characteristics. Soil has different minerals, gases, and water. We also talked about what soil is used for and what would happen if we had no soil.
History- Review of the Seven Kings of Rome.
English- We talked about how to write a book report- Additional example.
Math- We talked about Mode, Rage, Percentile. We also did many math problems with them.

What I Learned Today
Science- We reviewed conservation, and man made and natural disasters.
History- We talked about the last three kings of Rome. Lucius Priscus was the 5th, Servius Tullius was the 6th, and Lucius Superbus the 7th and last King of Rome.
English- We talked about how to write a book report (example).
Math- We talked about Median and also compared Median and Mean.

What I Learned Today
Science- We talked about natural and man made disasters. Some of these are volcanoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, and avalanches. Some man made disasters are oil spills and trash everywhere.
History- We learned about Tullus and Ancus the 3rd and 4th kings of Rome. Tullus would fight many wars but then lighting struck his house and died from being brunt to death. Ancus was the grandson of Numa Pompilius, the 2nd king of Rome. Ancus was a very peaceful guy, but when the LAtins were invading he took them down.
English- We reviewed A Wonder Book For Boys And Girls. It’s about different Greek Myths.
Math- We talked about problems with mean.

Johnson City Science Mill
Today we went to the Johnson City Science Mill In Texas. They had a snow event to that’s why we went there. They had other activities as well. There was a sled race where you built a sled side it down the ice and see who would win. There was a xylophone made out of ice and wires so if we hit one of the chunks of ice with a little metal whisk it would make a sound. We got to see some live animals in aquarium like different types of fish and we got to see an axolotl. We even got to learn about liquid nitrogen.

What I learned In School Today
Science- We talked about Conservation and Stewardship.
History- We learned about The 2nd king of Rome Numa Pompilius. He was very wise. He built the Temple of Janus.
Math- We talked about Finding Central Value, means and sums, and means and balance.
English- We reviewed the story The Three Golden Apples and read the story of The Chimaera.

What I Learned At School Today
Science- We talked about conservation of soil and water.
History- We reviewed Alexander The Great.
Math- We talked about Rate-Factor Problems and Proportion Problems. We also did many math problems with them.

What I Learned Today
Science- We just reviewed worms, how to grow strawberries, preserving and harvesting, and how to take care of bees.
History- We talked about the aftermath of Alexander The Great. Greek rulers ruled over Alexander’s Empire. Greek Culture was spread around the world. The Empire eventually broke up into smaller Empire.
English- We talked about a new book to read. It is called The Wonder Book For Boys and Girls. He wanted us to read chapter 1 part 1-3. The Gorgon’s Head.
Math- We talked about portions. He told as what proportions are and then we did several math problems.

What I Learned Today
History- We learned more about Alexander The Great and his conquests. Alexander concurred Greece. Then he went to Asia to continue his conquest. Alexander concurred most of Egypt, so he concurred Persian and many more Empires. When Alexander was moving towards the East He was defeated by the Roman Empire. He was known for making the biggest Empire and concurring lots of other Empires.
Science- We talked about bee keeping and the basic tools you need to do it.
English- We are going to be writing a book report, so he was telling us what we should be doing on the book report and he also told us when it was due.
Math- We learned about ratios. We learned about what they were and we did many math problems with ratios.

What I Learned In Class Today
Science- We talked about harvesting and preserving. We talked about harvesting different parts of different types off plant so they can stay ripe. He also mentioned prepare your plants for the cold season he also talked about how to preserve different fruits and vegetable.
History- We learned about Alexander The Great. His father was Philip II of Macedon. He had a great desire for knowledge. Alexander became king at the age of twenty. He was away for the kingdom most of the time because of wars. He married twice and had to sons. He never lost any battles and that’s why he is called Alexander The Great.
English- We talked more about how to write a book report- getting started. He gave us many tips. He talked about what you should do if your book report looks a little sloppy and he gave us some other good tips.
Math- We talked abut rates. We talked about what rates are and did some examples of rates. We also did some math problems with them.
