Science- My teacher taught me about the benefits of eating sprouts.

Science- My teacher reviewed what he talked about this week on fruits and vegetables.

English- My teacher introduced me to a new book called A Christmas Carol.

Math- Today my teacher taught about linear equations with rates.

History- Today was the last day my teacher talked about the Hundred Years War.

Science- My teacher talked about some of the healthiest vegetables.

English- My teacher reviewed one of the stories from the book Sherlock Holmes.

Math- My teacher taught me how to make equation from one point or two points on a coordinate plane.

Science- My teacher taught me about enzymes in vegetables.

History- My teacher taught me more about the Hundred Years War.

English- My teacher reviewed chapter 2 of Sherlock Holmes.

On November 21, 2023 we went on a little field trip to a tiny ranch to learn about racing horses. We were able to see four different horses. There was one horse in particular that really interested me. This horse raced until he was 11 while most horses stop racing at 4-6. Also, this horse was missing an eye since birth but was still able to race! Hearing this surprised me. This horse also raced over 100 times! One fact that we learned about race horses was that once they were done racing people wouldn’t want these horses anymore. The reason for this would be because people think these horses are defected. The reason people think this is kind of sad. When you pull back on the reigns for a normal horse that means to stop, but when you pull on the reins for a racing horse that means to go so when people do this the horse will speed up and if you pull harder the horse will speed up more because this is what they are trained to do. The reason these horses are at a ranch is for them to become like normal horses again. To sum it up this was a fun field trip.

Science- My teacher talked about the danger of over using pain killers.

History- My teacher reviewed the book Robinson Crusoe and also reviewed genres of literature.

Math- My teacher taught me how to graph a coordinate plane on a spread sheet.

History- My teacher taught me about Scholasticism.

Science- My teacher taught me about the dangers of stress.

English- My teacher reviewed chapters 13-14 of Robinson Crusoe and talked about fables and mythology literature. I was assigned to read chapters 15-17 of Robinson Crusoe.

Math- My teacher introduced us to coordinate planes.

History- My teacher taught us Giotto di Bondone and Petrarch, these were important people during the start of the Renaissance.

Science- My teacher reviewed what we learned this week about health.

English- My teacher talked about fiction genres and assigned me to read chapters 11-12 of Robinson Crusoe.
