Science- I watched some videos about dams and how they work, mainly the Hoover Dam. I also learned about watershed conservation practices.

History- Today we talked about the Punic Wars the lesson will continue tomorrow as well. The Punic war started because after the Pyrrhic war this war started because Carthage and Rome wanted to see who was better because two people were in a fight and they wanted to take over some land so Carthage and Rome fought over it. The first Punic war ended after 23 years because of exhaustion. Nobody won. The Punic wars continued, but we learn about that tomorrow.

English- We talked about punctuating with dashes.

Math- We talked about the slope-intercept equation.
