History- We talked about the Samnite War. This was a war between the Samnites and the Romans. The war was not going well for either side. The Samnites wanted a peace treaty , so it was arranged. Te peace treaty was signed, but this war lead to more conflicts in the future. The second Samnite war started because of a broken peace treaty becauce of the Romans. The Romans won. The there was the Third War. The Third War was when the Romans Finished of the Samnites.

English- We talked avoiding mistakes with similar-sounding words (homophones).
