What I Learned Today

Science- We talked about surface runoff. Surface runoff can lead to floods and maybe even flash floods.

History- We Learned about Rome’s Legal System. Rome’s most important contribution was the Jurist. The Jurist was to study, analyze, and interpret laws and develop the science of law. The way the Romans did things was very brutal. Criminals would not be imprisoned they would be exiled.

English- We reviewed the story “The Dragons Teeth” from Tanglewood Tales and we read the story, “The Golden Fleece”.

Math- We talked about histograms. They are very similar to a bar chart but a histograms is used for numerical data.
